"Teaching is to make a difference in someone's life"
I am Dr. Anju Sawhney and this has been my motto ever since I took up teaching after completing my MSc. and PhD. Over the past more than 20 years, I have put in tremendous efforts to mould and guide thousands of students to become meaningful and productive members of society. Using my unique teaching methods, I am currently teaching science and mathematics to the students of class 7-10 .
My Teaching Philosophy.
Teaching involves a student and teacher to indulge in an interactive conversation. The core of my teaching philosophy is to enable students to learn, understand, evaluate and explore the magnitude of a subject, beyond the constraints of a textbook. By utilising flexible strategies, rather than adhering to a particular style, I am able to adjust my instructions to match the abilities and pre-existing knowledge, a student brings to the class room.
My Approach.
My approach towards teaching is to motivate my students to think differently and to encourage them to accept the responisbility of their work. Along with this, I guide them by providing access to the information rather than acting as a primary source of information. The central ideology through which my approach evolves is to create a conversation that enables my students to think, question and explore.
