My journey with Anju Ma'am stated on the 7th October 2014. I had just finished my half yearly examinations and had just managed to pass in Maths (I got 33/90).

I realised that this would be the turning point in my life. I had to find a way to pull my socks up and turn things for the better or else it was going to be all over for me..

My classes with Anju Ma'am were between 2:30 - 3:30pm 3 times a week (M/W/F)...My school used to get over at 1:45PM & I used to rush back from school; change, eat my lunch & freshen up and reach Anju Ma'am's house no later than 2:35pm.

Maths was always a chore for me & I never used to like it. It was always a burden & rather I was personally very very scared of maths and never made an effort to get over my fear for this subject..

Slowly but surely; under the guidance of Anju Ma'am; I started putting in my best effort in Maths. Anju Ma'am used to scold me when my homework was incomplete.

Every time she told me "Samar I have seen that flame spark in you. But you have to ignite it". This made me work harder to achieve my goal. Thus for my class 9 exams I literally doubled my marks and I managed to secure a B2 in Maths.

Class X was a crucial year for me, as it is a very important year for every student.

As I felt my marks were dropping in Chemistry; I stared taking Chemistry Classes over the weekend from Anju Ma'am. I managed to get 27/30 in my Half Yearly Exams.

Now I have finished my Class X and have got a B1 which is the best result in Maths I have got since Class 5. I also managed to get A2 in Sciences.

I will always cherish this relationship all my life and I will always look up to Anju Ma'am as my First Guru. She was the one who has changed me for the better and brought me on the right track.
